Training in Basic SPSS
Duration: Four Sundays from 18th November 2012

SPSS Statistical Package...SPSS (originally, Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) was released in its first version in 1968 and is among the most widely used programs for statistical analysis in social science. It is widely used by market researchers, health researchers, survey companies, government, education researchers, marketing organizations and others |
Course consists of 25 hours of training which includes both practical and theory |
A certificate of participation will be issued by the Institute of Applied Statistics, Sri Lanka to all the participants.
This will be followed by an Advanced course in SPSS.
PARTICIPANTS ARE EXPECTED TO HAVE A KNOWLEDGE OF THEORETICAL STATISTICS
Registration Fee: SLRs.15,000.00
Registration fee includes refreshments during the training program and a copy of the course material.

This training course is conducted by the newly incorporated Institute of Applied Statistics, Sri Lanka – IASSL (former Applied Statistics Association of Sri Lanka) for those who need the basic knowledge of Statistics to carry out their normal statistical work in an office.
The lectures and practical classes will be handled by Academics of Sri Lankan Universities.
IASSL is the only Professional Organization of Statisticians in Sri Lanka.
